Petra Bernhardt started her professional carrier after graduation from State University on Public Finances in the Federal Finance Administration at Frankfurt am Main - Airport. As head officer, responsible for special customs procedures like across the border processing and customs warehouses, she was part of international logistics. Due to further law studies at Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, she expanded her legal logistic, tax and insurance competences focused on the cash cycle, from raw material to production at printing press and mint, to National Central Banks via national and international Cash in Transit (CiT) as well as Valuables in Transit (ViT). Entering into the private economy, she worked for law and consulting firms, for forwarding and CiT companies, and manufacturing industry. She combines legal consultancy with profound operational skills regarding her core competences.
In 2014, she initiates Cash InfraPro together with Jens Eberhardt due to a strong increasing demand of independent consulting services for projects around cash infrastructures.
